Tait Ball Buster 2010

Costco, $14.79
Total Wine & More, $15.99

Aaron:  Love the name, love the description, worth buying just because it’s hilarious (the wine wasn’t bad either).  The nose of this bottle was dark and intense which prepared the drinker for the bold flavor.  There were strawberries and black currant followed by a long, warming burn on the throat.  Most notably, the smokey oak was actually pleasant in this wine and makes it a great buy.  89 points

Teri: This bottle blended a fruit taste of blueberry/raspberry with flavors of sage and oak. This complexity was nice paired with strong tannins, but not overpowering. The guy also gets bonus points for creating and naming the wine after his wife, it would make a great gift. 90 points
