Wattle Creek Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Costco, $8.99

Aaron:  I didn’t love it as much as Teri but this wasn’t bad.  The brightly crisp and tart smell  rescinded to reveal some honey and cantaloupe which was enjoyable. Personally I appreciated the smooth flavor with only a slight burn.  I noted white raspberries and some very juicy pineapple.  This would be great chilled on the patio during a warm summer afternoon.  91 points

Teri: Wonderful Bottle! This Sauvignon Blanc has a superb smell of apricot jam and a full and creamy taste to match. Extremely refreshing to drink, this wine carries a hit of sweetness that pairs perfectly with the flavors of apricots, pineapple, and honeydew contained the the body of the wine. Almost no oak characteristics. This would be a great summer sipping wine enjoyed by itself or alone. 94 points
