Aaron: While I can’t rate this as a “superwine”, I will say adventurous wine drinkers need to try it. This wine was all about the smell. I got (get ready for this) baked potato with rich creamy butter overwhelming the nostrils. I found this as amazingly unexpected as those reading this post and squinting in disbelief. The medium tannins woven throughout the rich flavor were noticeable but not intrusive. I sensed oaky spices and the buttery thickness throughout and while thick, this wine was not overly flavorful. Were it not for this lack of flavor I would recommend it to anyone just because it is so unique. 89 Points
Teri: This bottle is a little gem for the price. This Spanish red has a dark ruby color with medium legs and contains a rich smell on the nose. It has a nice spice and berry flavor with a gentile earthiness to the taste. The flavor is strong but fades quickly on the palate. Overall, a great buy for the price, especially for those who want to try something a bit different from the classic California flavor profile. 89 points
