Purchased from Naked Wines, $9.99
Aaron: Musky oak overwhelmed what little fruit was present on the nose. This merlot was lighter than I expected for a Lodi wine and featured raspberry and lush grasses. Flashes of tangy bitters bled into a smooth swallow that finished better than it tasted. 88 points
Teri: Other than a unique name, this wine didn’t offer much. Both the smell and the taste was made up of younger, tangy fruit flavors of cranberry and raspberry. The tannins were smooth but I felt this wine was lacking in almost every other area. 84 points
