Moss Roxx Ancient Vine Zinfandel 2010

Purchased from the Oak Ridge Tasting Room in Lodi, $23
Cost Plus World Market, $19.99

Aaron:  This smells exactly like the Cinsault we posted on a little while ago, featuring cinnamon and berries on the nose. The taste did not disappoint with chocolate covered cherries and a bit of pepper creating a waterfall of flavor in the mouth. This is VERY VERY full and has great body with lots of berries, I find it wonderful. 94 points

Teri: With a smell very similar to the Cinsault from Longshadow Ranch (warm cinnamon), this Zinfandel is comprised of medium jammy flavors (not in viscosity) with an abundance of raspberry and blackberry notes.  A medium lingering finish with smooth but noticeable tannins makes for a fantastic drinking wine, either with a full meal or as a stand alone. Make sure to decant this wine for at least 30 minutes to really open up all the flavors. 93 points
