J. Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon 2011

BevMo, $14.99
Total Wine & More, $11.97

Aaron: The nose of this cab was strong and fruity with lots of prunes (very unexpected).  Overall this was very dry and featured smoke and tobacco as the primary flavors.  I felt this needed some more fruit to balance and wasn’t a fan.  84 points

Teri:  J. Lohr makes some great wines, but this was not one of them for me. With a bitter nose and a slight vegetable smell this wine didn’t do much for my nose or taste buds. This cab carries full lingering tannins and a heavy bitter mineral taste. Strong flavors of tobacco and mineral with not much fruit. Overall, just not my preference in my wine. 85 points
