Aaron: This merlot was a subtly pleasant experience with a slightly chocolate, oaky nose.  The final smell of blueberry lead to a slightly tart raspberry flavor.  There was some mild pepper in the distant background making this a well rounded, mild bodied wine which is an easy pick up when in need.  89 points

Teri: I loved the fruit forward nose of this wine, carrying dark cherry, raspberry, and chocolate. The smooth oak on the finish and a lingering flavor of spice created a pleasant drinking experience. I found it hard to characterize some flavors in the wine (some tart raspberry and muddled berries) but it was still nice to drink. Overall, better smell than flavor but it did start to open up after some aeration time. 88 points
