Cren dell’ Ape Piemonte Cortese Blanc 2010

Total Wine & More, $8.99

Aaron:  Embarrassing moment: I looked at the bottle really quickly and thought it said “Green Apple” so when I first did my tasting I was very confused … because there is NO green apple anywhere in here.  The prominent nose was light honey and butter and the flavor was crisp but slightly bitter.  I feel we likely waited too long to drink this.  84 points

Teri: This Italian white has a light flower blossom smell with a light feel on the mouth. I did taste a full abundance of flavor on the swallow. It was hard to make out one distinct flavor, but I did taste lemon on the finish. Crisp flavor and a clean finish with not too much oak. Nothing spectacular but a great lunch wine. 87 points.
