Wilson Daniels 2010 Pinot Noir Fact Sheet

Aaron:  The strong, oaky nose of this pinot is complemented with grassy undertones and black currant.  The flavor was rich and fruity as anticipated but with some subtle peppery spices.  This was pleasant but not for new drinkers because it is “in your face” for a pinot, making it less of an introductory vintage.  90 points

Teri: Light red/magenta color with a light plum smell at first glance, this Pinot Noir has a well balanced blend of earthy notes with berry flavors. I tasted bright, tart cherry, plum, raspberry, and earthy oak with a medium to light body. I think a few more years in the bottle would do it well to continue enriching its flavors. 87 points
