Aaron: I’ve found few wines which I can enjoy on a consistent basis in this price range.  Slight pepper with vanilla coated blackberries create a dream for the nostrils and the huge flavor with lots of fresh berries and a hint of apple make this easy to drink.  There isn’t much oak or earth at all, just lots of juiciness, but not to the point where it’s annoying.  Good for the region, great for the price, easy to pick up in a pinch.  92 points (many for the price point)

Teri: I have to admit, I have a particular liking to the jammy old vine zinfandels. This bottle is easier to find, won’t break the bank, and does a great job of bringing out the classic jammy and oak flavors of an old vine zin. With an easy to drink medium body of flavors (lighter than some bold zins) this bottle is great for general wine drinkers, dinner parties, or just a great bottle to keep around for when you need one. 88 points
