Aaron: This wasn’t bad but isn’t my favorite Zin, especially not for a $20+ bottle. Plum and tobacco croud the nose, partnered with some toasted oak. The flavor explodes with mocha, coupled with a blackberry-raspberry drizzle. There was a slight smoke on the finish and overall this is fine, but not amazing. 88 points
Teri: In this bottle I smell red licorice and faint blackberry. The flavors are full (like most Zinfandel’s are) but I found it to be thin on texture. Raspberry flavors hit your mouth first followed by abundant oak. Only a slight hint of jam with strong structured tannins. Great for hearty meals, but I can only have one glass. Not my favorite year for this wine. 88 points
