Aaron: I enjoyed this.  Berries and rocks shrouded in a pine nose.  The flavor is smooth and rich with no real bite.  A mellow merlot with blackberry jam that’s not too thick, just has some nice cherry and vanilla.  90 points.

Teri: At first smell, I did not want to even taste this wine. The nose carried heavy smells of mud and berries–not appetizing. If you can put that aside, the flavor overall is very easy to drink and tastes of rich blackberry, juniper, and dark berry preserves. This would be an easy starter bottle for a new wine drinker, just tell them to hold their nose…. 88 points
