Aaron: I noticed campfire kindling and prunes on the nose, followed by a slightly tannic flavor. There were lots of floral violets though the taste was a bit puckery. A noticeable spice on the bottom tip of the tongue stood out while the finish was fine. This wasn’t much to write home about but to be fair we didn’t have high expectations. 88 points
Teri: This Zinfandel is bold but still easy drinking with flavors of blueberry and oak alongside a synthetic undertone (almost plastic-like). 90 points for newer wine drinkers, 88 points for those who like more complexity in their wine.
