Les Red Blend 2013

Les 2013Lot 18, $17.50/bottle

Aaron:  While this doesn’t score well for quality with me, it was great at its intended purpose – which I see as an easy intro wine.  A light strawberry nose was intertwined with sweet watermelon.  Similarly, the flavor was nothing but juice, so this was really easy drinking.  While not complex at all this would be really appealing for newbies.  86 points quality; 90 points for new drinkers

Teri: With a juicy jammy nose, this red blend carries flavors of plum, black current, and a woody finish. I see the flavors as bolder than your everyday drinking wine but nothing too overpowering. The finish is also long lasting, making this a great wine to pair with cheeses, hearty meats, and rich sauces. 88 points
