Aaron: When looking for an easy-to-find, affordable wine, I generally trust Gnarly head and this was no different. Big fruity nose (as expected) and a juicy, easy drinking flavor. There was still some good thickness and overwhelming berries, featuring black, red, and purple fruits. This is not complex by any measure but it’s flexible and a good pick up, making it a great value in my opinion. 92 points
Teri: Slight tartness on the first sip leads the way to fill flavors but soft tannins and high drinkability. I taste mostly blackberry with some woody oak. It is rich but not overwhelmingly complex. If you want a fully bodied wine which is a good value at a decent price, this is your go-to. 88 points
