Aaron: This had a great flavor that doesn’t take too long to open up (and featured a nice poem on the back while you waited for it to breathe). A light raspberry and strawberry nose is chased by full flavors of chocolate covered berries and just a pinch of oak. Rounded and well-balanced with some spice, this was enjoyable and great for pairing. 90 points
Teri: We enjoyed this bottle at Yoshi’s in Oakland before rocking out with Tower of Power (great concert!) It was fruity and light for a Zinfandel but still had great structure with flavors of raspberries and spice. The winemaker adds some petite syrah grapes to the wine adding some complexity while still keeping the wine easily drinkable. Being lighter but full, this is a great choice for hearty foods. 89 points
